!!!!!Permaculture Design Course
Istanbul 2017!!!!!
Giving a PDC in an urban environment has been on my mind for a very long time, in this course Idil Akdos and I with help from guest speakers, will make the most of our available 'live example' projects and connections with people and places around the city and region that are active in the ecological movement of Turkey.
The syllabus will have relevant subjects and focus especially on Urban Permaculture and how to implement ecological principles in to a sustainable life style in the city
Biennal design - Istanbul
Biennal Istanbul is a very known exposition with artist from all around the world, I am fortunate to participate in a team with an enviromental design project with Somethingandson.com
The piece that we are doing is a 6 meter green wall with all edible plants, actually promoting our next project together 'Ek bic ya lac',
a soup & salad restaurant with an amazing concept of growing every thing in side the restaurant, with massive hydrophonic and aquaphonic systems.
If you are around Istanbul in the desember and you want to give us a hand building everything, let me know.

Open house urban workshops
I'm living in turkey this summer, and besides the farm, im also living a few days a week in Çihangir, istanbul where i conduct on our open terrace urban permaculture workshops about PC principles, water manegment, composting and small space gardening like vertical and container gardening.
The workshops are in English with Turkish translation, and we always have some healthy snacks made by my lovely girlfriend who loves to cook :)
