Education

Teaching is one of my passion in life and permaculture is the other, mud building, permaculture principles, different types of gardening, compost and more, are the subjects i teach. Working with people that are thirsty for this information, and planting a permaculture seed in their hart and mind, is one of the most novel\important things i would like to do for the rest of my life. Its not an easy road for me, mostly because its not only the teaching one must do to build his reputation as a teacher, but preparing, making publicity, being on top of most of the questions asked, all this takes time and energy… But to answer a question, to guide some one to look for the answer them self, to see curious and understanding students, to hear a good feedback after a class, brings in much more energy and motivation then i could ever spend.

Econstruction

Bio construction makes me feel like a child, playing with mud, trying to visualize complex patterns for a dome, or a round house roof.  Bio construction is the past and the future, using natural regenerative resources that we forgot about, using these materials not only as construction material but as an organic living environment.

Healthy, practical, magical, musical.. its econstruction

Urban gardening

Its a simple fact that that today there are more people living in urban environment then in rural. With big problems like space, quality of soil and water, we must stretch our creativity for 'Urban solutions'. Growing your own food is one of the most if not the most rewarding activity you can do. Providing health, physical benefits, relaxing, independent and a feeling of a stronger connection to the planet and your self.

Here are some examples, of Urban solutions, for material, growing pots ideas and other ecological urban life style examples.

Water systems

Water have caught my attention slowly as I went through my permaculture path, I understand that water is a very sour spot in our human behavior pattern. We abuse it completely with out any awareness of the consequences, yet changing the situation can be a very easy step to do, with only a few important mind sets to adapt.

By implementing gray water systems, rain harvesting, bio-filters or simply wasting less by using a compost toilets, we can have enough drinking water to be healthy and never to buy bottled water.

In this page you see a few of my water management related project, and a course I did at the south of Portugal about creating  'water retention landscape' and biological lakes.

I would like to expand my knowledge in this area, focusing on this magnificent, so important element.
